About
Me:
Over the last 27 years, I have taught a wide
variety of Composition, Rhetoric, and Literature courses at two and
four year colleges and universities. Presently
I teach at Evergreen Valley College where I chair the English
Department, serve on the EVC Staff Development Committee, work on
department curriculum, and coordinate the annual Creative
Writing/Poetry Festival, and organize and promote the Evergreen
Valley College Authors’ Series which I initiated in 1996. Above
all else, I enjoy teaching and working with students. Thus, in
addition to instructing all levels of composition, working in the
Writing Center, and teaching Introduction to World Mythology,
Creative Writing, Survey of English Literature, Shakespeare, and
World Literature, I further serve as the faculty co-advisor for
English Majors at Evergreen Valley College and the students’
faculty advisor for The Authors’ Guild.
