Physical Education will prepare the student to become a life long
participant in physical activity. The student will acquires skills
necessary to perform a variety of physical activities, understand the
principles of physical fitness and skill development in specific
activities, participate regularly in physical activity, and value
physical activity and its contributions to a healthful lifestyle.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of a physical education activity course, the student will be able to:

perform the specific physical education activity with an adequate degree of proficiency
- demonstrate understanding of the concepts of physical fitness and development of specific sport skills
- achieve and maintain a healthy level of physical fitness
- become a lifelong participant in physical activity
