So you need a ride???
If you do not have a car or other means of transportation for a trip
here are some suggestions:
1) Borrow mom or dad's car, or better yet the family van!
2) Talk a friend (who also is a student at EVC or SJCC) who can drive into going on the trip.
3) Rent a car.
4) People signed up for the trip can exchange phone numbers and put carpools together.
When will carpools leave and return?
Be sure you communicate clearly and understand meeting locations, departure
times and return times. Drivers should be sure their vehicle has working
seatbelts for each passenger and the passengers use them. It is expected
that riders help pay for gas so bring money to do so (this greatly increases
your chance of finding a ride next time)!
Form your carpools off campus. Cars left on campus for extended periods of time
(over night) may be cited or worse vandalized. The campus provides
no security overnight. Remember to plan on gear space when offering rides
and exchange phone numbers with drivers.
