Women's Soccer

Evergreen Women's Soccer team plays in the Bay Valley Conference.

A native of Sacramento , Felicia Perez attended John F. Kennedy High School , where she played varsity soccer, basketball and softball.  Following high school she attended Cosumnes River College in Sacramento , where she played on the women’s intercollegiate soccer team for two years and was named most inspirational player.  She then transferred to California State University , Chico , where she earned her B.A. degree in Physical Education and played two years for the women’s intercollegiate soccer team.  She went on to earn her Masters degree at the University of Redlands in Education Counseling.

 Coach Perez has spent 17 years as a coach in northern and southern California and Utah coaching competitive youth teams.  She has experience as an assistant and head coach for Northern California and Utah in the Olympic Development State Programs, a program for elite youth players.  She started her coaching career at Cosumnes River College as an assistant while she was finishing her A.A. degree.  She then moved on to coach high school soccer in Sacramento and Chico for six years. 

 Coach Perez then moved on to college coaching, spending three years as an assistant at both the University of Redlands and at Cosumnes River College . She then spent four years as the head coach at Contra Costa College .  To add to her career, Felicia also had the opportunity to train with the Mexico Women’s National Team, and was an assistant for a Men’s Premiere Soccer Team and Women’s State Select team in Utah .

 Coach Perez recently holds her USSF “B” License and NSCAA Advance National Diploma.  She is currently a head coach for the Olympic Development State Program and is also a Coerver staff instructor.  When Coach Perez is not coaching, she enjoys exercising, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family.
